1. Who is responsible

Tailored Wheels is a business area and brand of NORTEK CORE AS. NORTEK CORE AS is the controller for personal data processed through this website and the project-enquiry service.

2. What we collect

• Contact and identity data: name, email address and any telephone number, country or preferred language you choose to provide.
• Project data: vehicle, project intention, desired expression, timing, intended use, selected inspiration directions and correspondence.
• Images and rights data: uploaded reference images, photographer or credit information, people or number-plate restrictions, upload-rights confirmation and separate public-use choices.
• Consent and control data: the privacy version shown to you, marketing choice, public-image-use choices, submission time and technical evidence needed to document the request.
• Security data: limited request and event data needed to protect the service, prevent abuse and investigate errors or incidents.

3. Why we use the data and our legal bases

• To receive, assess and answer your enquiry and take steps you request before a possible agreement: GDPR Article 6(1)(b).
• To operate and secure the website, prevent abuse and document incidents: our legitimate interests under Article 6(1)(f), balanced against your rights.
• To retain records that law requires and respond to legal claims: Article 6(1)(c) or 6(1)(f), depending on the record and purpose.
• To send optional marketing updates: your separate consent under Article 6(1)(a). You may withdraw it at any time without affecting the reply to your enquiry.
• To publish identifiable customer images on the website or in social channels: a separate, specific consent and final rights check. Uploading for private assessment does not approve publication.

4. What is required — and what is optional

Name, email and a short project description are required if you want a reply through the enquiry form. Without usable contact information we cannot answer the request. Telephone, exact vehicle data, timing and images are optional at the first step.

Please do not send identity documents, payment-card data, passwords, health information or other sensitive or unrelated information. If a later project needs additional technical or delivery data, we explain why before collecting it.

5. Enquiries, images and confidentiality

Structured enquiry data is stored in restricted D1 storage and uploaded image files in restricted R2 storage. Access is limited to people who need it for the Tailored Wheels project workflow.

Supplier, factory, price, order and other restricted project information is not published through the website. Private assessment, production coordination and public use are separate purposes and are not treated as the same permission.

6. Recipients, service providers and transfers

Relevant recipient categories may include website delivery and security providers, protected database and file-storage providers, customer follow-up tools, and—only when a project requires it—professional advisers, production, payment, accounting or delivery providers.

The website uses OpenAI Sites and its Cloudflare-based delivery and storage infrastructure, including restricted D1 and R2 services. At launch, Microsoft 365 notification is not active: Tailored Wheels checks the protected enquiry queue manually. If a minimum operational alert is activated later, the complete enquiry and uploaded images will remain in the protected queue and will not be attached to the alert.

OpenAI processes hosted website data on our behalf under the ChatGPT Sites Data Processing Addendum. Where EEA data is transferred outside the EEA, the addendum provides for the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses or an applicable adequacy decision. OpenAI's current sub-processor list identifies relevant infrastructure, hosting, security, moderation and support providers and their processing locations. We review material provider changes and stop or adjust a service if the safeguards are no longer adequate for the intended use.

7. How long we keep data

• Every new website enquiry receives a retention review date after 30 days.
• Enquiries and uploads that do not become an active project are erased within 90 days unless you ask us to continue, a dispute must be handled or the law requires longer retention.
• Active project information is kept for as long as needed to develop, deliver and document the agreed work, and longer only when legal, accounting, warranty or claims requirements apply.
• Marketing contact details are kept until you withdraw consent or after 24 months without meaningful activity, whichever comes first. Minimal suppression data may be retained to respect an opt-out.
• Consent and withdrawal evidence is kept only as long as needed to demonstrate that the choice was respected.

8. Your rights

Depending on the circumstances, you may request access, correction, erasure, restriction or data portability, or object to processing based on legitimate interests. You may withdraw a consent at any time. Withdrawal does not affect processing that was lawful before withdrawal.

9. Automated decisions and changes

We do not use the website to make solely automated decisions with legal or similarly significant effects, and we do not profile visitors for advertising. We update this notice when purposes, providers, retention or technology change; the date and privacy version show which information applied to a submission.
