1. Accessibility is part of the build

Tailored Wheels aims to make the website usable across devices, input methods and assistive technologies. The internal quality target is WCAG 2.2 AA, while applicable Norwegian requirements remain the legal baseline.

This statement describes the current work and feedback route. It is not a claim that every page has passed a complete independent accessibility audit.

2. What is built in

• Semantic page landmarks, heading structure and a skip link.
• Keyboard-operable navigation, forms and interactive controls.
• Visible focus treatment and reduced-motion support.
• Responsive reflow, readable text and touch-target review.
• Alternative text for meaningful images and empty alternatives for decorative imagery.
• Labels, instructions and status messages for the project-enquiry form.

3. Verification and continuing work

We review physical devices, keyboard use, screen-reader behaviour, contrast, zoom and reflow, form errors, long Norwegian copy and motion as the website develops.

Automated checks are only one part of the work. Reported or observed barriers are recorded, corrected and retested.

4. Tell us about a barrier

Email Daniel@TailoredWheels.com with the page address, what you were trying to do and what went wrong. If useful, include your device, browser or assistive technology—but do not include sensitive personal information.

We will acknowledge the report, investigate it and explain the correction or a practical alternative where possible.

5. Updates

This statement is reviewed when the website gains new pages, forms, media, tracking or major interaction patterns, and after material accessibility testing. The version and date above identify the statement that was in effect.
